Project Location: NJDOT Thiokol Complex, 930 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing, Mercer County, NJ. 08628This project involves the replacement of Thiokol Buildings 6 & 8’s HVAC equipment and the associated building automation system. Currently, the two (2) buildings contain a mixture of original and renovated equipment; some of which are inactive. The intent of this project is to replace the HVAC equipment in its entirety and to modernize all the HVAC equipment serving the two (2) buildings. The existing buildings are connected and total approximately 20,000 square feet. Work also covers associated electrical and plumbing scope that serves the HVAC systems, and the replacement of the entire roofing, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. All bidders must be classified with DPMC with one of the following trades: General Construction (C008) or General Construction / Alterations & Additions (C009) or Roofing – Membrane Modified Bitumen (C068). Bidder must be classified themselves or name their classified subcontractor(s) for the following trades: Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C029) Plumbing (C030) HVACR (C032) Electrical (C047) Roofing – Membrane EPDM (C066). SBE Goal: 25% Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
