DASNY is soliciting bids for façade restoration and roof replacement at Lehman College’s Music Building. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Removal and replacement of sheet metal flashing. 2. Removal and replacement of existing roofing membrane and flashing, etc. in existing roof valleys. No additional insulation required. 3. Replacement of existing roof drains in kind, on existing roughing, in existing roof valleys. 4. Removal and replacement of cracked brick masonry units. 5. Repointing of mortar joints in brick and stone masonry. 6. Repair of crack mortar joints in brick and stone masonry with reinforcement and repointing. 7. Scraping and painting existing steel spandrel beams / lintels including removal and restoration of stone units, and new flashing and ties. 8. Stone masonry cleaning. 9. Reconstruct stone columns, including reinstallation of stone units, new wall ties, and flashing, cleaning and coating of existing steel column. 10. Reconstruct stone corner, including reinstallation of existing stone units, cleaning and coating of existing steel, new wall ties and flashing. 11. Removal and replacement of sealants in copings. 12. Steel column and spandrel beam replacement. 13. Repair cracked and spalled stone with adhesive and patching mortar. 14. Removal and replacement of stone units. 15. Repair existing copper roof gutter. 16. Replace existing gutter drains and pipe leaders in kind. MBE Goals: 18%, WBE Goals: 12%, SDVOB Goals: 6%, EEO Goals: 45% Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
