This project is the replacement of the existing Pedestrian Bridge at the Rockland County Courthouse, 1 South Main Street, New City NY. The steel bridge is approximately twenty-five years old and has reached the end of its life expectancy. The bridge will be replaced in kind with certain modern amenities such as integrated lighting and a combination of galvanized and painted finish. The concrete abutments are in good shape and will remain. Special care shall be taken to maintain visitor and employee access to the Courthouse throughout the demolition and replacement of the bridge. Separate contracts will be issued for General Construction and Electrical Construction. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
