The Town of Somers solicits bids to install a new single-phase 120/240-volt Liquid Propane (LP) standby generator and associated switchgear at Van Tassell House, 98 Primrose Street, Rt. 139, Katonah (Somers) NY 10536. Work includes, in general, the following elements: • Single-phase 120/240-volt 100kW Liquid Propane (LP) standby generator to supply power to the entire site. • Service disconnect switch • CT Cabinet and utility meter • Enclosed circuit breaker • 1200A Automatic Transfer switch • 1200A Manual Transfer switch • Main distribution panelbaord • Site wiring to existing utility transformer and existing site distribution • Demolition of existing site utility panelboard and diesel generator • Complete all required electrical upgrades following the specifications provided to integrate the new service and ensure compliance with current codes and standards. • Add Alternate: Portable 100kW diesel engine generator, including cables and appurtenances. Note: Excavation and pad construction services will be provided by the Town, in coordination with design scope. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
