This project focuses on the removal of trees and shrubbery situated within the 34:1 approach slope boundary at both ends of Runway 3-21, encompassing an approximate disturbance area of 38 acres. The project scope entails clearing and grubbing to include; removal of trees, stumps, and shrubs, as well as erosion and sediment control and minimal grading operations, followed by revegetation (seeding and mulching) of areas that do not fall under jurisdiction of Waters of the United States (i.e., areas not classified as jurisdictional wetlands or streams). To preserve the integrity of Waters of the United States, tree stumps will remain in areas falling under their jurisdiction. Prequalification required. DBE goal 3%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
