Total Small Business Set-Aside, 238110 - Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors. The Field Research Facility (FRF) located in Duck, North Carolina is a remote field station of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC). The original main office building (Building 0001) sits on the now 45-year-old elevated concrete slab supported by concrete beams and piles. A reinforced concrete ramp which abuts the building platform provides access to research pier. While most of the structure appears to be in good condition with minor shrinkage cracks, several platform piles and the approach ramp beams exhibit moderate and major spalling and delamination. This requirement is to repair the ramp beams and platform piles to maintain its safety. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
