Henderson County (hereinafter the “County”) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms for itself and for any Activating Entity, as defined below, for professional services related to all aspects of Federal Public Assistance and Mitigation Assistance following the declared disaster incident as related to Hurricane Helene. Firms are encouraged to research, prior to proposal submission, the areas listed below and evaluate their ability to respond to the unique needs of the County and each of the activating entities. The entities which may be “Activating Entities” are as follows: Henderson County: Municipalities: City of Hendersonville, City of Saluda, Town of Fletcher, Town of Laurel Park, Town of Mills River, Village of Flat Rock; School System: Henderson County Public Schools; Community College: Blue Ridge Community College (Flat Rock campus); Fire Departments: Bat Cave Volunteer Fire and Rescue , Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue, Dana Fire and Rescue, Edneyville Fire and Rescue, Etowah-Horse Shoe Fire and Rescue, Fletcher Fire and Rescue, Gerton Volunteer Fire, Green River Fire and Rescue, Mills River Fire and Rescue, Mountain Home Fire Department, Saluda Fire and Rescue, Valley Hill Fire and Rescue, Other Entities: All other non-profit entities (1) located within or providing services with Henderson County (2) which are eligible for FEMA assistance. Please note that this is a multi-jurisdiction, multi-entity solicitation. However, each Activating Entity will review proposals and may select and award a firm based upon their own determination of the evaluation matrix and criteria as contained herein. Each Activating Entity will contract directly with the awarded Vendor entirely in the Activating Entity’s sole discretion and will be solely responsible for compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Assume Federal funding. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
