Swinerton Builders has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk by the City of Charlotte and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade and specialty contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and tools for the CMPD Northwest Division Station in Charlotte, North Carolina. The facility for the Northwest Division will be one-story and approximately 16,000 square feet in size. The facility will include shallow conventional footings, concrete ?oor slabs-on- grade, and structural steel and masonry framing. Other site construction includes sign monuments, canopies, a dumpster pad with similar construction to the building, and a one-acre solar array will be constructed on the east side of the site. Site work for the project will consist of underground utilities and stormwater pond, mass grading, and pavement improvements.
