This project consists of a mill-and-fill rehabilitation of Runway 9-27 (3,500’ x 75’) with a non-strengthening FAA specification P-403 bituminous asphalt overlay. The scope of the project includes the following: • ½-inch nominal bituminous pavement milling • Fill and repair encountered pavement cracks with an engineer approved non-shrink grout-type crack filler material • FAA specification P-403 scratch course paving to fill in low spots and assure consistent transverse grade throughout the length of the runway • FAA specification P-403, 3-inch nominal overlay placed in two 1-1/2-inch lifts • Runway shoulder restoration grading, seeding and mulching as required • Application of initial and final visual runway pavement markings • Install one each, L-858R, size 1, style 4, unlighted airfield guidance sign The project site is within a restricted area of the airport and may only be viewed by permission and accompaniment by authorized airport personnel.
