Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) Set-Aside, 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. A. Contractor shall coordinate with the City of Bixby and pay all necessary permit, inspection, and/or all other applicable fees associated with the work. B. Work shall comply with City of Bixby Ordinances, Title 8, Chapter 4 – Sewer Regulations. C. Verify that all products supplied are in new condition and are without defect. 1. Defective, damaged, used, or unsound materials shall be rejected by IHS Project Oversight and removed from site. D. Prepare trench in accordance with Section 1.08 Trenching. E. Install pipe, fittings, and accessories in accordance with ASTM D2321. Solvent seal joints watertight. F. Minimum slope for sanitary sewerage piping is 1/8-inch per foot. G. Bends greater than 45̊ shall not be allowed. H. Connect to existing sanitary sewerage piping with PVC wyes or other approved fittings. 1. Connection fittings are incidental to the sanitary sewerage piping and shall not be paid separately. I. Install cleanouts at the location specified in the drawings. 1. Install two-way cleanouts such that the service can be rodded or snaked in either direction. 2. Install sanitary tee in the sanitary sewerage piping and connect riser pipe from the fitting to 12 inches above the ground surface. 3. Solvent seal the cleanout cap to the end of the riser pipe. J. Backfill trench in accordance with Section 1.08 Trenching. Take caution not to displace or damage piping during backfill. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
