Baker Relief Nursery is soliciting proposals from qualified firms and businesses capable of providing construction services for the renovation of our site at 1925 16th St. Baker City, OR 97814. This renovation will consist of the following: Convert the back porch into interior office space for staff with built-in desk space, plentiful storage, and an observation window into the classroom. Add an approximately 20x20 awning/roof-covered play patio with ramp access. Remodel the current kitchen to a kitchenette with a gated entry. Remodel child entry location including a child-sized sink, built-in cubbies, added wall with window, and Dutch doors. Switch the children and adult bathrooms, close off the door to the new adult bathroom, and add a new door to the bathroom from the hallway Add Dutch doors to the children’s bathroom, along with the addition of storage cabinets in both children’s and adult’s bathrooms. Remodel current resource room to accommodate washer/dryer unit, meeting area, lactation space, and storage. Replace current windows and add insulation. Construct exterior 8x8 storage unit. Bonds required.
