Trades: HVAC Contractor: Heating Ventilating Air Conditioning & Controls, Exhaust Systems, Air Handler/Air Chillers. Includes RTU's
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials and permits as necessary to perform the following in accordance with all specifications and drawings: NOTE: • Lennox model # ML196E and Carrier model number #59SC5B. Either furnace selected shall have ECM motor. 1. R/D existing gas furnace, vent pipe, electrical and gas lines as required and return grill. 2. R/R thermostat. See specifications for type. 3. Install new Lennox ML196E 95% high efficiency gas furnace. Modify existing ductwork, electrical and gas lines as required to accommodate new gas furnace. Install new condensate pump/drain to the exterior of the building. Exterior drain penetrations shall be sealed. See specifications. 4. Install new vent pipe and ductwork as required per manufactures installation instructions. Patch sheetrock, roof, adjacent surfaces, etc. as required to seal all penetrations. 5. Install new high wind directional cap. Contractor to verify size. 6. Install new air return grill. New grill shall be the type to accommodate 1” disposable filters and be serviceable. 7. R/R any damaged/corroded ductwork as required to seal and insulate all existing ductwork to achieve an air tight efficient HVAC system. 8. Contractor shall have all existing ductwork professionally cleaned at end of job. 9. If there is any electrical work that will need to be updated or corrected by an electrician, it is the contractor’s responsibility to include this in their bid and schedule. Bonds required.
