The work consists of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control upgrades at two wastewater collection system pump stations. At Awbrey Glen Pump Station, a new electrical building will be constructed to house new motor control center, and variable frequency drives to power two pairs of tandem pumps, and existing electrical equipment will be demolished. At Westside Pump Station, two existing pumps will be replaced with new pumps, the wet well structure will be rehabilitated, two new engine-drive dedicated backup system pumps provided, and existing adjustable speed drives will be replaced. Additionally, a pipe to support pig launching and bypass facilities will be constructed on-site, and bypass pipe facilities constructed in public right-of-way. A temporary bypass pumping system will be required to operate for an extended period to accomplish the Work at Westside Pump Station. HVAC improvements and new standby engine generators will be provided at each pump station. Bonds required.
