The Building 15 Relocation and Elevated Platform Remediation project addresses the 2020 Bond project goals of updating the campus public safety relocation needs, building 12 demolition, civil storm, access, parking lot and elevated platform remedial work. Public safety currently resides in Building 12 which is planned for demolition and is included in this project as the program will then need to be relocated to Building 15. The Lane Community College is seeking a CM/GC firm to construct the building modifications for the relocation of LCC’s Public Safety program currently residing in Building 12 to Building 15. In addition, the CM/GC team should construct the remediation addressed by deferred maintenance issues with the elevated platform that is adjacent to Building 15. As part of the project, the CM/GC team should be prepared to work closely and in collaboration with several other AE firms that are directly linked to this scope, namely the site civil access and parking lot work associated with Building 15 designed by KPFF Civil, the demolition of adjacent Building 12 designed by Henneberry Eddy Architects, and the AE firm selected to design the B15 Public Safety Relocation and Elevated Platform Remediation work. Adjacent and separate from this CM/GC is the work that will be constructed during the same periods, namely the Major Maintenance work on Building 16, designed by Rowell Brokaw Architects that Fortis Construction is constructing. The selected CM/GC firm should anticipate working with the B16 adjecent project teams, phased scheduling, logistics and laydown areas. Additional details of each of these projects are located in the college Project Charters in Exhibits 5. In summary the projects under this CM/GC contract are: B15 Relocation Elevated Platform Remediation Site Access and Parking Lot B12 Demolition Civil Storm Improvements Prevailing wages.
