Major items of work consist of replacing or repairing approximately eight-thousand, one-hundred and ten (8,110) square feet of concrete sidewalks, walkways, and curb ramps. The purpose of the replacement and repair is to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for public accessibility for slope, cross slope, panel gap width, and raised edges. It may not be necessary to remove and replace concrete along the entirety of the affected areas; some portions may be remedied via panel grinding. Sections of the walkways have fallen out of specification due to various settling and lifting. As some of the damage has been caused by tree roots, this project will also include removal of offending trees and hedges, as require Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
