This solicitation is to establish a contract provide services for performing construction materials testing and inspection support services at various TxDOT locations including but not limited to; hot mix plants, and concrete plants using the testing methods listed on Attachment A - Types of Required Testing. When specified on the solicitation, special testing requirements shall be performed at a vendor's laboratory (Ref. Attachment B -Special Requirements for Testing Performed at the Vendor's Laboratory). Testing will be for construction at various locations in the Bryan TxDOT District which includes Brazos, Burleson, Freestone, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Milam, Robertson, Walker, and Washington Counties. NIGP Class-Item: 912-75 (Quality Control Testing Services for Construction). TxDOT has determined that subcontracting opportunities are probable in connection with this solicitation (Reference Historically Underutilized Business Participation Attachment).
