The addition/renovation of the existing Fire Station No. 3 includes the removal of the existing side-porch for a 875 s.f. addition for patio, sleeping quarters, and one office. The addition will match the width of the existing structure and continue the CMU wall appearance. Metal studs and metal steel roof framing matches the existing station and the roof over the residential quarters will be replaced. The project includes renovation of the existing kitchen, dining, day room, and one shower to be replaced. Wall and floor finishes and cabinets will all be replaced in the living quarters, little scope within the apparatus bay of the station. The station design must be in compliance with all ADA and other applicable requirements. An automatic fire sprinkler system (NFPA 13R) shall be installed over the residential quarters only, accompanied by a remote-FDC installed near the driveway. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all permits, testing, labor, materials, machinery, equipment and necessary landscaping needed to construct and complete the Project. Bonds required.
