This contract will consist of duties and assignments including but not limited to the following on an “on-call” basis. Traffic signal coordination plan development, updating, and maintenance. Troubleshooting, implementing, or recommending appropriate fixes for complex traffic signal operation problems. Developing and/or updating unique sequences for traffic signal control in compound intersections or those with unusual geometrics. Reviewing, approving, disapproving, and conducting warrant studies for new (previously unsignalized) and existing (signalized) intersections. Reviewing and making appropriate recommendations for the City’s response to traffic-related studies for land development projects within the City. Making appropriate recommendations on all other traffic engineering matters as the City requests.
