1.1. This RFP is to select a professional project manager with experience in the replacement and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning software, coordination of data conversion, and migration of systems. More specifically the City seeks a project manager to help the City facilitate the transition of the current Infor Lawson v10 software, which the City of Grand Prairie implemented approximately 20 years ago, to Workday software. 1.2. The catalyst for this software migration is to streamline the business processes, incorporate spatial and textual information into one system, replace outdated software, and improve services to the community. The firm may suggest modifications to the scope of the work that it deems necessary or appropriate for the task. 1.3. The anticipated implementation time frame is approximately 18 months.
