The project’s objective aims to rehabilitate the soil’s stability at the Eastside Utility Plant, which is crucial for maintaining the current and the future operations of the airport. The issue of ground instability has negatively affected the utilities supported by the East Side Utility Plant building, posing risks to its functionality and structural stability. During the design phase, it was confirmed that the integrity of the soil beneath the structure has not been compromised. This assessed via the performance of the geo-technical investigation through soil boring and soil compaction tests. Those tests have been conducted under the foundation, by which, verified the integrity of the soil beneath the structure and that the concrete forms are functioning as intended. Bonds required.
