Fort Bend County, Texas (hereafter referred to as the “County”) seeks Sealed Proposals (“Proposals or RFP”) for selection of a Contractor (“Respondent”) to complete the construction of the Justice Center Courtroom finish-out (“Project”), located in Richmond, Texas. The scope includes the light demolition of three future courtroom shell space areas. Vendor is to construct the complete finish-out of three new courtrooms, approximately 16,750 square feet, including extensive custom millwork, fabric sound panels, audio / visual systems, and all other typical requirements such as electrical, mechanical ductwork, lighting, paint, carpet, etc. Also included will be the construction of a new security core that serves the courtrooms, including an added elevator stop and two holding cells that conform to current Jail Commission Standards. This will be an occupied facility throughout the renovation, so some accommodations will be required at times to control excessive construction noise. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
