Galveston County is seeking a Contractor to construct the “Galveston County ARPA Bacliff Drainage Improvement project. The project consists of improvements to the N16-East channel from 10th St to the weir crossing with a grass-lined bench cut section on the south and maintenance of N16-West channel from 20th St to 10th St. The outfall pipes into the Galveston Bay, east of Bayshore Dr will be replaced and the channel above the boxes will include a concrete slab at the bottom, and Articulating Concrete Blocks (ACB’s) on the side slopes. The low flow water crossing across the 10th St ditch shall be replaced with an improved concrete lined section. The scour hole downstream of the low flow utility crossing shall be filled as shown in plans. No changes will be made to the inflow pipes below the Ordinary High-Water Mark (OHWM). Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
