This contract shall provide for the installation of approximately 21,789-LF of proposed water lines throughout the District. The proposed water lines consist of 240-LF of 2-inch, 4,060-LF of 4-inch, 16,428-LF of 6-inch, and 1,061-LF of 8-inch DR25 Class 165-psi proposed water lines, connections to existing water lines, restoration of long and short side service connections, automatic flushing devices, gate valves, fire hydrants and mini hydrants, bores with and without casing pipe, and various other improvements necessary for a complete installation. Contractor shall provide and implement a trench safety plan and provide and implement a traffic control plan. Contractor shall also include door hangers for early notification to citizens within the area of Contractors operations. All utility coordination, pipeline coordination and construction materials testing coordination shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
