The intent of this contract is to primarily provide hot mix materials at non-site-specific locations in the Longview Maintenance Section. If conditions arise, materials may be requested for pickup or delivery in the adjacent counties within the Tyler District which include Rusk and Smith Counties. The contractor will provide materials at the hot mix plant to be loaded into Department owned trucks or Department contracted trucks (pick up), or in a contractor truck to a designated location as defined in the Work Order (delivery). The hot mix plant shall be located within a 60-mile radius of the Longview Maintenance Office, located at 4549 LP 281W, Longview, TX 75604. If the hot mix plant is located more than 60 miles of the requested delivery site of an adjacent county, it will be at TxDOT’s discretion to determine temperature requirements. Bonds required.
