This contract is for concrete repairs on various highways in the Houston Metro Maintenance office area (IH 610, etc.) in Harris County. Commence work upon the issuance of a work order. The Contractor will begin call out work within the required time for each work order. All call out work orders will have a begin date and number of working days. The Contractor will begin work within 48 hours of notification for routine call outs, unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. The contractor will begin work within 2 hours of notification for emergency call outs and complete within 7 hours, unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. Night and Weekend work is required. Perform work on an as-needed basis where directed. Provide and maintain an e-mail address for receipt of work order and correspondence throughout the term of this contract. Respond to any correspondence within 24 hours to confirm receipt. Bonds required.
