The project scope includes extending the existing Cockrell Hill roadway north across the Union Pacific Railroad tracks with a new bridge and widening 1,500 linear feet of Vinson Road north of the bridge. The bridge section will be four lanes divided and the roadway section will consist of five lanes with a two-way left turn lane. This project will also provide a new traffic signal at the intersection of Cockrell Hill Road/Weisenberger Drive and Singleton Boulevard, sidewalks, drainage improvements, and water and wastewater improvements.
