1. Purpose The City of Leander, herein after “City”, seeks to enter into an agreement with a qualified Individual, Firm or Corporation, herein after “Respondent”, to provide construction services for the delivery of the of the Bagdad Terminus Pump Station. 2. Background The Work consists of the removal and replacement of the existing Terminus pump station building. Removal and replacement of the existing 750,000-gallon ground storage tank with a 1.5 MG (million gallon) concrete tank. The addition of a new 24" water transmission line on Bagdad Road from the Terminus Pump Station to Crystal Falls Parkway, connecting to an existing 18" water line at Crystal Falls Parkway. The replacement of existing 12"-18” water lines with a new 16" waterline (the existing 12”-18” are to be abandoned in place, in addition to connecting distribution lines ranging in size from approximately 3”-12”. 3. Project Firm and Plans The design and construction management services for the Project are being provided by Huitt-Zollars, 9600 N. MoPac Expressway, Suite 420, Austin, TX 78759. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
