1. Furnish and installing all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of new City of Liberty Hill sanitary sewer lines. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Plug and abandon existing grinder pump force mains as indicated in the Plans including the proper handling and disposal of any and all sanitary sewage within the existing piping in accordance with all necessary City and state regulatory requirements. Contractor shall provide and operate necessary bypass pumping with a peak capacity of 185-gpm, including relocation of the bypass system as needed. All improvements including traffic control, sitework, grading, seeding and appurtenances, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. b. Provide and install 15-inch, PVC (SDR D-3034) sanitary sewer pipe, approximately 115-linear feet by trenchless construction, and approximately 3,381-linear feet of 15-inch and 8-inch pipe by open-cut construction, including connections to new manholes, and service connections as shown in the Plans. All improvements including traffic control, sitework, restoration, seeding, tree protection, trenching safety, pavement repairs, and appurtenances together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. c. Furnish and install 16, 4-foot diameter, pre-case concrete manholes approximately 8.5-foot deep (per Plans). All improvements including traffic control, sitework, restoration, seeding, tree protection, trenching safety, and pavement repairs, together with related subsidiary, incidental work, and appurtenances in accordance with the Construction Plans and Specifications. 2. Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction improvements to the City of Liberty Hill's existing water lines. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Cut, plug, and abandon the existing asbestos cement (AC) waterline and install new 12-inch, 8-inch, 6-inch, and 2-inch PVC (C900, DR 21) waterlines, approximately 2,715-linear feet by open cut and 164-linear feet by trenchless construction methodologies. The work includes providing and re-connecting the water service lines, and the installation of gate valves air-release valves, and appurtenances as shown in the Plans. All improvements including traffic control, site work, restoration, seeding, tree protection, pavement repairs, hydrostatic testing and disinfection, together with related subsidiary and incidental work will be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. b. Furnish and install 4 fire hydrant assemblies and remove and salvage the 3 existing hydrants identified and shown on the Plans. 3. Adhere to the stipulations of the TCEQ approved Edwards Aquifer Contributing Zone Plan (EACZP) and the terms highlighted on the EACZP - Approval Letter. A project specific EACZP was developed to protect the water quality from any potential surface contamination that will result from the proposed construction activities. The plan outlines best management practices that must be implemented by the Contractor for the duration of the construction phase of the project. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
