The City of Danville will receive sealed bids for Memorial Drive Pavement Resurfacing – Poplar St. to Main St. Bidders must be prequalified with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Detailed work description: Asphalt concrete pavement planing and resurfacing of eastbound and westbound lanes of Memorial Drive including crossovers, turn lanes, and connections from Poplar Street to Main Street (approximately 0.5 mile) as shown on the Plans and as directed by the Engineer. Work includes replacement of pavement markings as shown on the Plans. Work shall include all required traffic control, cooperation and coordination with other contractors, and other incidental work as may be required. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
