The City of Danville seeks to secure a Virginia-licensed contractor for the construction of the Northside WWTP Outfall 2 Stormwater Pump Station. The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a part is generally described as follows: 1. Construction of a new stormwater pump station a. Two submersible solids-handling pumps in a wet well with associated valve vault, valves, and 8-inch force main piping b. Electrical work to supply power to pumps c. Instrumentation and controls for pump station operation (via local pump control panel) 2. Construction of a three new storm structures: a. One manhole b. One doghouse manhole c. One curb inlet 3. Installation of new stormwater piping and tie-in to new and existing structures 4. Site improvements, erosion and sediment control, and restoration for the above as defined on the Contract Documents. Bonds required.
