The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) by the County of Frederick, Virginia is to establish multiple Architectural and Engineering Contracts for professional services through competitive negotiations. Services under these contracts will be provided on an as needed, on call basis for managing, planning, maintenance, and renovation projects according to project task orders issued during the contract term(s). Frederick County has a number of projects expected to be among the first activities under this RFP, including: • Design of a new Fire and Rescue Station • Mechanical Renovations to existing County Buildings • Third Party review of Public-School proposals for new school construction, renovation, expansion, etc. • Park facility expansions and/or construction of new park facilities.
