Giles County Public Schools invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for Eastern Elementary/Middle School Renovations and Secure Entrance. The work to be done hereunder includes the furnishing of all labor and materials and performing all work for HVAC renovation, a new secure entrance and replacing approximately 69,677 SF of existing EPDM membrane roof on the school and 2,810 SF on the bus canopy with a new fully adhered single-ply EPDM membrane roof. The existing roof deck shall remain and shall be inspected, patched and repaired prior to installing a new fully adhered single-ply EPDM membrane over ½” cover board on new rigid roof insulation, tapered roof insulation on vapor barrier over the existing roof deck at Eastern Elementary/Middle School, as indicated on Contract Drawings and as specified herein. Bonds required.
