The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) by the City of Lynchburg, Virginia (City) is to solicit sealed proposals from interested engineering firms (Offeror) that can become pre-qualified consultants for various professional services. The services shall be provided under a Requirement Contract which will be used on an “as needed” or “on-call” basis. When the need for services arises in connection with a specific project, the City will issue a Task Order to the Consultant for the professional services. This RFP will pre-qualify engineering firms as consultants to provide services in up to four (4) categories. Offerors may elect to qualify for selection in all categories or any number less, dependent on their capabilities. Nonqualification in one category shall not eliminate the Offeror for inclusion in other categories. The categories are as follows and are defined below: 1. Transportation 2. Structural 3. Geotechnical & Testing 4. General. Prevailing wages.
