The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for the provision of all Work and Materials for the renovation of the First Floor of the City's Public Safety Building, in accordance with the specifications of this IFB. The Project consists of the alteration of the existing Public Lobby at the Newport News Jail into a secure sleeping unit for inmates. The alteration will include the reconfiguration of two public restrooms into a toilet and shower for inmate use. Bonds required.
