The City of Virginia Beach is requesting Offers from interested Contractors to submit Offers for a Job Order Contract (JOC) to provide construction services for minor construction, renovation, modernization, and alteration projects, subject to the provisions of VPPA ยง 2.2-4303.2. A Job Order Contract is an indefinite quantity construction contract pursuant to which the Contractor may perform an ongoing series of individual construction projects at the facilities under the jurisdiction of the City of Virginia Beach. Job Order Contracting is typically used for small to medium-sized repair and rehabilitation work, replacement in kind projects, and minor new construction. The City intends to award multiple contracts resulting from this solicitation in the following trade categories: Electrical, Roofing, Plumbing / HVAC, Earthworks / Stormwater / Wastewater, Marine Construction (including dredging), and General Contracting. Bonds required.
