SDOT solicits interest from qualified consulting firms with expertise in engineering design services with the intention of awarding the consultant through 100% design, and potential for construction management services. This project will provide design for rehabilitation of two areaways composed of a brick street wall and brick arches with steel support beams as sidewalk support and concrete sidewalk surface. Areaways will require rehabilitating and preserving the areaway structure while enhancing the street wall to support increasing vehicle loads and current seismic design requirements. This project will also resurface the existing sidewalk surface.
