Contract includes removal of approximately 120 LF of existing fender system on the north facing end of the pier and constructing a new fender system with HDPE sleeved galvanized and epoxy coated steel piles and rubber fenders. Work will include: • Demolish and dispose of existing timber fender system. • Remove and dispose of 11 existing timber fender piles. • Remove and dispose of 2 existing timber piles immediately west of the existing timber fender system. • Provide and install new galvanized and epoxy coated steel fender piles. • Provide and install HDPE jackets on all new piles. • Provide and install new fender system. TWIC required. The WMBE utilization goal is 10 % for this contract. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
