The Project consists of alterations and modifications to three existing, places of worship of various types and sizes and as shown on the Contract Documents The overall objective of the Sound Insulation Program is to achieve quantitative noise reductions in selected properties most affected by the aircraft operations. Toward this end, the program provides for the improvement of openings in the exterior envelope using known technology and quality workmanship. This may include, but is not limited to; replacement of existing windows and doors, door weather-stripping, mechanical and electrical modifications, and related items required as part of the work. Scope of work at each location will vary based on sound exposure levels, existing building conditions, and owner requests, among other design criteria. DBE goal 7%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
