The 81st Avenue Pump Station project consists of the replacement of 81st Avenue Pump Station with a higher capacity package pump system. This work includes the decommissioning and removal of the existing pump hardware, the installation of a package pump system, its control systems, and related piping. This work also includes related water, stormwater conveyance, pavement, and pedestrian improvements. The Woodford Avenue Drainage Improvements project will retrofit the storm system around Woodford Ave N and E James Street by adding catch basins and pipes for a new direct storm connection into the James Street Stormwater Pump Station. The project includes installation of two new 72-inch Type II catch basin structures on the east side of Woodford Ave N, an in-line check valve and a knife gate valve with about 30 LF of 18-inch DI stormwater pipe. A new Type I catch basin will be installed on the west side of the road with about 75 LF of 12-inch DI stormwater pipe. Project includes roadway and driveway restoration. Due to proximity to the Mill Creek Middle School. Apprentice utilization requirement is 15%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
