This Request for Qualifications is for the purpose of selecting an Architectural or Engineer firm to perform Condition Assessments for the projects located at multiple correction centers in Washington state. This scope of work includes condition assessment only. The project identifies immediate replacement needs to avoid unexpected security electronics failures, plan for ongoing replacement of security electronics systems as they approach end of useful life, and recommend future solutions which consider alternative technology. The scope also provides an order of magnitude cost for these projects, prioritizes the order of system replacement, and estimates the time/expense to operate and maintain the systems.
