The City of Fife is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional engineering firms interested in providing engineering design services and obtaining required environmental permits for the City of Fife Pacific Highway E Preservation project. Design work is anticipated to start in November 2024 and end in July 2025 with the option for the City of Fife to extend it for additional time and money, if necessary. The project will grind and inlay the existing asphalt pavement on Pacific Highway E from Willow Road E to 54th Ave E. The project will have spot subgrade repairs as needed. The project will include ADA improvements including upgrading push buttons at the 51st Avenue E and 52nd Avenue E intersections and pedestrian countdown timers. 16% DBE goal. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
