1. The construction of two separate projects, located across First Avenue from each other in Zillah, Washington, as follows: a. Administration / Dispatch Building: Construction of a new, single story structure of approximately 6,535 square feet in size. The structure shall consist of a concrete foundation and slab-on-grade with wood-framed walls and wood roof trusses. Construction shall include all site work, utilities and building construction. Limited off-site work will also be required to acquire utilities from First Avenue, crossing the street. b. Fire Station 10 Addition: Construction of an addition to the Existing Fire Station 10 (approximately 2,236 s.f. in size) and Renovation/Remodel of a portion of the existing building (approximately 2,000 s.f. in size). The structure for the addition shall consist of concrete foundations and slab-on-grade with CMU structural walls and wood-framed partitions and furring. Roof structure will be an open-web trusses with roof sheathing and TPO single-ply roofing over rigid insulation. A fire sprinkler system will be provided in the addition and in the remodeled portion of the building. Minimal work will occur in the remainder of the existing building (approximately 6,600 s.f. of floor area with approximately 4,150 s.f. of roof area). As an additive Bid Alternate, this existing multi-level portion of the building will receive new roofing to match the TPO roofing provided on the remainder of the building. c. Both projects are pre-approved through the City of Zillah, meeting their Old World Theme exterior design and have specific materials approved by the City, including, but not limited to the following materials: Stone Veneer, EIFS, dimensional asphalt shingles, etc. Materials specified and approved by the City will not be open to substitutions without prior written approval from the City, which will be the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
