The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (DOH) invites bids for the Log Cabin Bridge WB Improvements in Harrison County. Work will consist of replacing the superstructure on the bridge with steel beams and a concrete deck, abutment repairs (semi-integral conversion), construction of new wingwalls, pier patching, applying a concrete protective coating to the substructure units, construction of concrete approach slabs, and approach pavement reconstruction. There will be minimal ground disturbances. All work will be within the existing right of way. A single lane closure on US 50 is anticipated throughout the duration of the project. Phased construction will be utilized to complete one lane on each new structure while traffic is maintained on the existing bridges. There will be no tree removal or work below OHW. DBE goal 12%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
