The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (DOH) invites bids for Peterstown - Bozoo Rd Resurfacing in Monroe County. WV 12 - Work will consist of installing Superpave Asphalt Base Course, Type 19 at 2.5 inches and Superpave Skid Pavement, Type 9.5 at 1.5 inches on the entire roadway surface. Base failures will be repaired as directed. Paved shoulders will be constructed by excavating 2 feet left and 2 feet right of the existing gravel shoulder 4 inches deep and installing Superpave Asphalt Base Course, Type 25 at 4 inches. Shoulder stone will be placed on the remaining existing gravel shoulders and all existing pavement markings will be replaced. US 219 - Work will consist of fine milling the existing roadway and installing Superpave Asphalt Skid Pavement, Type 9.5 at 1.5 inches. Base failures will be repaired as directed. Paved shoulders will be constructed by excavating 4 feet left and 4 feet right of the existing gravel shoulder 4 inches deep and installing Superpave Asphalt Base Course, Type 25 at 4 inches. Shoulder stone will be placed on the remaining existing gravel shoulders and all existing pavement markings will be replaced. All work will be within the existing right of way. There will be no tree removal or work below OHW DBE goal 8%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
