The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways (DOH) invites bids for the Jumping Branch - Nimitz, HWY 2024 in Summers County. Work will consist of fine milling the existing roadway width at 2 inches and installing Superpave Asphalt Skid Pavement, Type 12.5 at 2 inches. Constructing paved shoulders by excavating 2 feet left and 2 feet right of the existing gravel shoulders 4 inches deep and installing Superpave Asphalt Base Course, Type 25 at 4 inches. Placing shoulder stone on the remaining existing gravel shoulders and replacing all existing pavement markings. All work will be within the existing right of way. There will be no tree removal or work below OHW. DBE goal 7%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
