The overall scope of the project is to install the equipment and structural for (2) new DDG smooth wall storage silos for the Export facility located in Milwaukee, WI, including, but not limited to engineering, procurement, construction and construction management of the Project Work with demolition, material handling equipment, spouting, and all other miscellaneous associated incidental/ancillary work necessary as described herein and/or as indicated in or reasonably inferable from the Flow Schematics, General Arrangement Drawings and in accordance with the Summary of Work. The Bid Package documents including the Summary of Work, General Arrangement Drawings and Flow Diagrams are intended to be conceptual and general in nature. It will be the Bidders responsibility to determine actual equipment requirements to meet the system and plant capacity requirements indicated in the Summary of Work. The Design/Build Contractor shall verify all existing conditions, equipment layouts, flow diagrams and general arrangement drawings. The Design/Build Contractor shall perform all the work identified in the Bid Package unless specifically indicated otherwise. The Design/Build Contractor shall provide all necessary engineering, labor, materials, tools, equipment, freight, storage fasteners, brackets, supports and miscellaneous pieces required for the erection and complete installation of all equipment. The Design/Build Contractor shall provide the necessary information to assist the Owner in applying for the building, air, environmental and operation permits as required by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. The Design/Build Contractor shall comply with all applicable codes. A general description of the project scope and other requirements are included in this Summary of Work. Failure to list an item in the Summary of Work does not relieve the Design/Build Contractor the responsibility to perform all the work shown on the Bid Package Drawings as a part of the Project Scope. MBE, WBE, SBE, DVBE & LSAF Goals encouraged. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
